12w02a not working

Just looked up the newest snapshot (1302b) after looking up 13w02a and installing however when starting 12w02a (a NOT b) it simply crashes no matter how many times I reinstall (although it dosent matter now I would just like to make it known)(crash report included although its not very interesting) (also wtf is the "try our sister game Minecraft!" thing!)
