Minecraft stained glass lag

A large amount of stained glass causes huge lagg spikes when moving.
I noticed that some colors like red cause more lag then colors like white or black.
Issue is on multiplayer servers,
Forced chrash report included in attachments.
Mods installed: OptiFine alpha 1.8, but confirmed without optifine too.
