Custom sounds using sounds.json in 1.8 doesn't work.

I created a resource pack and the custom sounds using sounds.json only works in 1.7 versions but not 1.8.

Edit: To test this the sounds I made were for witches so spawn witches in on both 1.7 and 1.8
