Slimes having choppy movement

Spawned just a few slimes in Creative, and I noticed that the jumping animation seems to be very choppy, the same behavior laggy mobs on servers seem to have, but it was in single player though.

I don't remember having seen this choppy behavior before, so I wanted to mention it in here.
