App freezes when moving forward over spawned stone area in world.

Minecraft PE - In one world I created there was a naturally spawned stone area - Any animal seems to avoid stone area - when I try to fly or walk near area (within 10 blocks), the app freezes. Must force quit app to resume. Replacing with other elements does not help, even with additional levels.
