I double click the launcher and it won't open at all

When I went to double click the launcher icon in my hot bar I expected it to open like normal.

What happened was that the launcher wouldn't open at all, I tried to open it on the desktop, nothing, I then deleted .minecraft to reinstall it but the launcher still won't open.

I can't reproduce the bug science I have no .minecraft files
