Bat models are glitched

The models for the bat mob in my minecraft version 1.8 are glitched.
what is wrong with them is the wings on the entity are just huge squares coming off the bat's body. I wold estimate the wings to be approximately 4m by 4m.

To replicate bug just find or spawn a bat
