Powered Rails Placement

Hey guys, this is a Minecraft bug/annoyance I am having. For advance: - is an off powered rail sideways, ' is an off powered rail forward. = is a rail, " is a rail forward. Whenever I placed my rails side by side I expect this:

It is very annoying and seemingly impossible to bypass. To create: just place like that ^
