Directional Chunk Lag

So I was playing around on my vanilla server world building stuff, when I noticed that in one of the chunks I was getting lag only when I sprinted west. The weird thing was that it was only laggy while sprinting west in that chunk; there was no lag when I sprinted in any other direction.

I trouble-shooted the world, but that did nothing. I knew that it couldn't be entity lag because there were no entities in that chunk.
