Pressing shift is much more noticeable than before

As you can see in the video taken in Minecraft 1.8-pre3, the sneaking is much more noticeable than in the video taken in Minecraft 1.7.10. This actually bugs me a lot and I would like for Mojang to make sneaking like it was before 14w06a.
