Health boost effect issue

When a player has a health boost status effect, giving them health boost again will set their current health to the default 10 hearts, but still give them the effect. For example, if Health Boost x24 gives me 60 hearts, and I type in '/effect @p 21 999999 24', then I will still have 60 hearts, but my current health is 10 hearts; the other 50 are empty.
