Minecraft performance problems.

Alot of users are experiencing serious performance issues (from 80-90 fps i get with 1.7.10, now I'm usually at 20). Is this happening due to various bug with the new rendering system or we will have to prepare for this also in the final release? Because it's pretty unplayable.
