ctrl pick block doesn't work (on mac) and should be command-pick block on mac

When I attempt to control pick-block to get the NBT data of, say, a command block, the NBT data doesn't appear. It also uses the wrong key.

How to reproduce:

1. Create a super flat creative cheats world on mac
2. /give @p command_block
3. Place the block down and put text into it (ex. /say hi)
4. Command+pick block on the command block
Nothing happens.
5. ctrl+pick block on the command block
6. you get a block with no NBT data
