I can't tame rabbits

I wanted rabbits and I learned how to tame rabbits during the snapshot stages. I tried over an hour taming them after this update and they won't become tame for some reason. I give a rabbit carrots, it flares hearts and hops slowly as if it were tame, but it isn't tame. The rabbit walks away and not following me nor teleporting to me. When I tamed rabbits in the snapshot stages, rabbits would hop to me slowly and teleport to me when I'm far away, like wolves/dogs and ocelots/cats. Since this pre-release, I can't tame rabbits.
