Unable to download any version

I have been trying to download some of the newer snapshots and I have not been able to. It does not let me download any version. The launcher would close and just says:
Error: Could not find or load main class net.minecraft.client.main.Main
I have redownloaded the launcher and I still have this problem. If I use one of the versions I have downloaded it works fine.
Also the Version I had to do and could not say all for a version so this may cause confusion so mojang, add an all option.
