redstone can replace blocks.

redstone dust can replace anything that leaves a spot open on the ground. (things i have tested that are replaced: fences, fence gates, upside down stairs, upside down half slabs, mushrooms, flowers, ladders, glass panes, chests, banners, mob heads, signs, and trapdoors) the only things i received as items were mob heads and this works in survival and creative mode
