German "ß" not displayed properly in-game

The german letter does not display properly in in-game chat, nor does it on a sign. It displays as a letter for the male gender symbol (♂)

please delete if duplicate. (i tried my best to find a similar one and only ended up finding an old one that is different to the bug i reported)
