Crops dont grow in a world of 1.7

In my survival world of 1.7 all my crops dont grow (potatoes, carrots, wheat, sugar cane, melon...). In a world created in the snapshot 14w34d it grows.

I started my world in 1.7 and I uploaded to one of the firts snapshots of 1.8 and all was good but when I uploaded to 14w34d all my crops dont grow. I saved the world and I came to snapshot 14w25b and it grows. I dont want to go to 1.7 because I think I'll loose all my items.
Also when I use my hoe in dirt next to water the land dont wet.
