Certain characters cannot be typed on certain keyboard layouts ("AltGr" behaving like "Ctrl")

Key "Alt" or "AltGr" acts like "Ctrl" ("Alt" + "V" pastes copied text...). This means you are NOT able to create many characters like "@" or "&".
