Minecraft Server List deleting itself

So every so often the server list deletes itself, the file gets turned into the file type on the picture, this had I had since 1.7 came out and its bugging me and now i report it

Every time it gets deleted, i have to go to to .minecraft and rename it and take away _tmp, so annoying, some friends have also had it like that so its not just me, fix in 1.8 pl0x
