Spruce Doors Fall as Wooden Doors Upon Breaking

After receiving my three Spruce Doors from the crafting table, I placed one down. However, I placed it in the wrong area, so I broke it while holding the Spruce doors. The item that dropped however was the classic Wooden Door.
