Armour stands despawn when the chunk unloads

I was making a minecraft snapshot video and I had armour stands set up as I went to show some coloured beacons which were like 100 blocks away I came back they were gone.

Steps to Reproduce
1. Place down some armour stands

2 . Fly/walk 100 blocks away

3. Come back to where the armour stands are and they would be gone.
