Minecraft PE does not work on ios 6.1.6

I have been playing Minecraft Pocket edition on an iPod Touch 4. Since updating to ios 6.1.6 Minecraft does not load. I just freezes at either the Mojang screen or the load screen. I tried updating Minecraft to v0.9.5 but it changed nothing.

In addition your JIRA page states that v0.9.5 doesn't exist.
