Chest textures do not show up

What I expected to happen was...:
My chests would appear where they always are.

What actually happened was...:
The textures did not appear, but I could still access them. I should note these are double chests not singular ones.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a world in version 1.7.10
2. Place chests in that world.
3. Update client to snapshot 14w32b.
4. Load the previously created world.
