Broken Beacon

I Have Moved My Beacon In my smp server and it just wouldn't let me activate the Beacon.
*What I expected to happen was...:*The Beacon would power and I get my power-up/effect.
Describe what you thought should happen here. The Beacon would power and I get my power-up/effect.

What actually happened was...:
Describe what happened here- The Beacon wouldn't power and give me my power-up/effect

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Build a 4 level beacon pyramid
2. ...place the beacon on top
3. ...Put a iron ingot/ diamond into the beacon and select one of the power-ups
4. hit the check.
5. re-enter the beacon to see that the power-up wasn't selected and no effect was given to you.
