Pick block on Red Sandstone

When I "pick block" (middle click) a Red Sandstone Slab in creative mode, my game crashes. I'm not sure if it effects all of the Red Sandstone blocks but that's what made my game crash. I could easily restart the game afterwards and tried it again and sure enough, that's what made me crash.
