Beacon: Not being able to select buffs in beacon interface.

The beacon isn't letting me select a buff, the beam is fine it's just the beacon doesn't seem to let me select a buff. I have tried replacing, putting the beacon on different sizes of beacons. Oh and it is on a multiplayer server runnning 14w30c.
