Minecraft Crashes when near Underwater temple

Whenever I go near the underwater temple with my friend on my vanilla server mine and his minecraft Grey screens and shuts down, we cannot even get inside it. My computers fans start spinning fast and my computer gets hot as soon as my boat gets in the proximity of the underwater temple
