Problem creating worlds

I can't seem to be able to create an 'Issue' regarding Minecraft Pocket edition which is the version I'm having trouble with so I'm doing it here sorry about that .

Well I bought Minecraft PE (v0.9.5 alpha) today on my Xperia play , model nº R800i / android version 2.3.4 / Kernel 2.6.32.9-perf. / version nº 4.0.3.A.0.42 .

I open it normally but when I click on "Play" all I see is a gray box written 'play' on top and no options to create worlds .
