Stairs not working when leaning on a wall

When climbing stairs, if you lean on a wall at the same time, you won't be able to climb the bottommost stair. You will be able to climb the other stairs of the staircase.

There is a special case where every stair is impossible to climb: when placed on the side wall of a village house. You won't be able to transition from one stair to another (See images below for reference).
