Fishing Pole Wont Enchant

Hi. Me an my friend were both trieing to enchant our fishing poles. It would show the list of enchants we could use and when we tried to select one, It wouldn't give us the enchant. It would act as we didnt even click the enchantment. I hope you can fix this! thanks!
