Blind when using night vision and in the void.

What I expected to happen was...:
Be able to see in the void with night vision.

What actually happened was...:
It's pitch black

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Give your self night vision
2. I would suggest going in gamemode 3
3. and fly into the void.
