Realms Not Saving

My server did it's auto restart at about 1:30am (eastern time), and I mined for about an hour after that. When I logged in today at 10:36pm, I was in the same position as I was in before the auto restart, as in nothing after the restart saved. This has happened in other forms in the past, but it really annoys me that you guys can't add a simply backup button.
