Bug with nether. Getting killed from mob damage, even when no mobs are present

Bug occurs on minecraft realms server
Occasionally as you go thru the portal,
you start to take damage till you die, and a death message such as slain by zombie or shot by skeleton appears.
This happens at night.
No mobs are in the nether.
Most extreme case was being blown up by a creeper
YET, no blocks were destroyed. only the players (my cousin and i) died.
I previously reported this bug to no avail it was unresolved and closed. no effort to contact me regarding the problem.
I have now taken videos showing the bug in process.

and before you close this and label it invalid, at least explain to me what is being done to help my situation.
