When I died from fire in the nether portal I could not respawn. I hope I was helpful :)

What I expected to happen was...:
I thought I would die but I tried going through the portal first.

What actually happened was...:
I died before spawning in the overwolrd and I could not respawn

Steps to Reproduce:
1. get caught on fire
2. jump in portal
3. die in portal before going to overworld. I donot know if this happens when you go to the nether.
