Wheat Placement

Whenever I try to place wheat next to each other almost always they break and become pick up seeds. I will provide pictures to show what works and what doesnt. 01.58.24, in the corner you can see the two pieces of wheat. In 01.58.54 the two peices of wheat are gone because wheat was places in the empty corner and are now pick up items. Also the wheat is placed in rows of 4 in between stone.
