Lag on resume from minimize

Reproduction steps:

• Start the game
• Join/Create a world
• Open the chat box
• Minimize the game for a few minutes
• Reopen the game to find it frozen/not shown, or running at a severely decreased frame rate for a few seconds-minutes.
