Animals disappear from pens

Animals disappear from their pens when I go for a wander on my old-style world in 0.9.4.

Sorry for posting under the "Minecraft" project, but when I clicked on the MCPE link, then clicked "Create Issue", I could not find MCPE listed. Affected version is 0.9.4.
