Fire invisible

I was in my testing world, making a vanilla custom crafting, when i tried to create Fire (minecraft:fire) It was not there in item form. I tried flint and steel but fire was invisible, but particles are showing. I went in survival and stepped in the fire. It was burning me, i could see the fire on me, but the fire block was not showing.
