Stair blocks in Desert Villages all face the same direction in Caver's Delight

Stairs that are supposed to be the roof's of the houses in desert villages all face the same direction when I used the cavers delight preset. I didn't alter anything else but I loaded the world in creative. I'm not sure if this happens with any of the other presets.
