Block gets placed, but doesn't show

While building with Polished Andesite, I came across this bug. While "spamming" my right click to build faster, the block would get placed, but would be invisible. However, if you place a block on top, it would suddenly become visible again.

I have also noticed that the block below sometimes doesn't show the textures, as if it has something on top of it - I'm guessing to avoid rendering the entire block when not needed
