Far Kill

Hi Mojang Team,
I found a bug somehow while playing in survival mode. I tried in creative, same thing happened.
Mobs can be attacked from 7 blocks away (such a great distance)= less
chance of dying while fighting a creeper!
Sorry for wrong version because I didn't find the Minecraft Pocket Edition Project. But issue is in 0.9.2
