Can't pick up summoned items

Can't pick up summoned items.

What I expected to happen was:
Me being capable of picking up the item.

What actually happened was:
I couldn't pick up the item.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Put down command block with this command:
/summon Item ~ ~1 ~ {Item:{id:minecraft:bread}}
2. Activate the command block.
3. Notice you can't pick up the item.
