fire dosent have an id

when i try to give myself fire/ add to can destroy command/ give to a mob it says there is no item with this id/ dosent let me break fire/ spawns the mob without fire. i have tried using named and numbered id's, is this actualy a bug or a removed feature, if so ADD IT BACK
