Lag while chunks loading in any world

I expected there to be better frame rate and normal response from my mouse while testing the new snapshot.

I was experience noticeable lag with my mouse and video while chunks were loading, even while they were reloading chunks I was already in.

I tried activating the new "Use VBO's" setting which did not affect the lag wile chunks were loading, I also tried restarting the game and it did not affect the lag.
