Peaceful monsters

I geared up to go monster hunting on mcpe. I just got the update today btw it's still crashing. But anyway I had originally had it on peaceful but then turned difficulty on and went out but then got scared and went to bed (to many monsters) so in the morning I turned it off then went about my way working on my head count of sheep but I noticed 2 spiders and creepers and I double checked to make sure it was off it was so I walked up to the. Spider and hit options to screenshot it for proof to send to u.
