Ore Smelting

This Bug affects my ore smelting in my 1.7.9 Survival world with cheats enabled. when i smelt my iron/gold in a furnace in a stack around 10/20 And i go to my mining, i come back and my stack of 22 is converted to 19. i do not know as of what is causing this.
