The top of chiseled quartz will be the same as the side of chiseled quartz.

In a resource pack I have quartz_block_chiseled_top.png and quartz_block_chiseled.png and they are different. In Minecraft if I select the resource pack, the top of chiseled quartz is the same as the side. The only time it works is if I bundle the resource pack with the world using a resources.zip file.
