Red stone torchs flys?

Well i was playing with the red stone and i hit the block that had a red stone torch on it but it stayed there in the air what happen.It did work for torch but not red stone torches. p.s. I did not try it in Survival. This is 13w01a so it might be fixed in 13w01b.
