Lots of graphical glitches when play minecraft for a long time

When I play Minecraft for a significantly long time, my computer starts to get graphical glitches. The Menu Bar gets all crackly and layers start to mix up.
Also most of the times the text in Minecraft would start to change form, turn into blocks, become invisible, change color, and more. I get this glitch/error around once a month but mostly when play for a long time.

My friend has a very similar problem too.
